October 5th was one draft day. The Friday of Fobab was also one (not sure if cans were released then but maybe). It went on January 13/14th as well to spice up a slow time of year

My wife stopped by More today and got 4 crowlers of random beers (love her). I immediately grabbed the DDH Dusty. I can confirm that something is definitely off with this batch. The carbonation is fine (I know they intentionally dial it back). But the taste is a little metallic and dull.

So your issue is with DDH Dusty as opposed to Mosaic Dusty from the previous page? Just trying to keep things straight

I randomly bumped into Double Rainbow on a Friday over lunch one time, no can release or anything (the day of Benthic release which I passed on). But in general I agree.

It was randomly on one day when I went in for a few crowlers and chaos was on a different night I went in also. Definitely a nice surprise when that happens.

I think it will be interesting to see how More will handle giving pours of Henna to people who bought tickets. How will that affect those who didn't purchase tickets, but wanted to stop in?

Good question. My guess is you pick up the bottles from the bar area (probably on the side where they usually hand you your crowlers/cans unless you are seated) and get your pour at the same time. They just scan & collect your ticket at the same time, and that's that. If no ticket, no pour.

My question is, what size pour is it going to be. For something like this I'd prefer more than the usual 5oz pours that they have. Id prefer it be that 10oz pour like at the Henna Double Rainbow release.

Assume they won’t have it on the board or anything so you’d have to know to ask, and if they just limit pours to when you get your bottle it won’t be too difficult

Yeah this makes sense. Let's just hope they have some more beers on tap that week for the influx of people coming in. My buddy got tickets so I'm driving him there. Luckily getting one of his bottles, but would be fun to try it on tap.

It is. Good call - I forgot that the previous complaint was about mosaic.

For the record, the DDH Dusty wasn’t terrible. It just was a little off compared with previous iterations.

I totally am with you on the 10z pour for selfish reasons. But without the pour being included in the ticket price there's probably not a great reason for it to be the bigger size. Is it kind of weird that drafts go to people (myself included admittedly) with bottles already? You'd figure people would miss out on bottles but then have draft as a potential consolation. Just struck me as odd.

A non-BA pastry stout that nobody has ever had is already trading for VR? Do work, Shaun. :beers::whale::beers::whale:

I won't be having my pour so there will be an extra one out there for one of you folks.

I brought home a crawler of each. The DDH Dusty tasted a bit flat and dull but the Mosaic tasted way off. Almost infected. On draft they tasted fine but the crawlers were pre filled.

Yea! They should save the drafts for all the losers.

Yeah, it sounds strange but Shaun's got quite a proven track record of quality stouts, non-BA or BA, dating back a good bit to Ram days. Not much different than any other brewery that puts out a brand new beer or batch of a beer where the brewery has a proven track record.

Yep. And to say nobody has had this beer doesn't really ring true/

I’m trying to think but who else has put out a non-BA stout that was trading for the likes of VR before ever being released to the public?

And don’t get me wrong, I get it. Shaun’s stouts have been phenomenal. I just think it’s ridiculous and completely awesome at the same time.

I guess my mind went right to Mornin' Delight... granted that one has been through a few iterations at this point (even though each one is slightly different).

if this was the motto of the entire beer industry, i'd be drunk 24/7.

oh wait, you meant the people who didn't score tickets. gotcha.
