More descriptive categories in New Beer section?

    Would it be possible to add "Style" to the New Beers list? Right now there is only "date" "name of beer" , and name of brewery. It would also be great to be able to search for new beers within a geographic radius. For example all new beers made within 50 miles of 02143. Those are the craft beers that are mostly likely to show up in the stores near where I live. Or even better, show me "new wit beers within a 50 mile radius"

    This would be great. A simpler approach, and a way to reinforce the regional updates, have a search by region.

    Style addition would be really interesting and useful feature for us Beer Advocates looking out to find the Brewers making the lesser made/more obscure beer styles at this moment in time that we like. FYI...if you live near Frederick MD there is a tiny brewer called Midnight Run that always seems to have 1-2 Barleywines on tap at any given time and they have been very a solid (if you are a fan of Barleywines and having difficulties finding any).

    I can definitely add style, but the site doesn't currently support searching by geographic radius. Something that I've wanted to support for a very long time now, but BeerAdvocate resources are tight at the moment and there's a long list of critical updates that need to be tackled first.
