Anyone have any of their beers? I had Fatamorgana this weekend and would say it was on par with Pliny the Elder, Double Jack, Hop Venom (my three favorite DIPAs). I tried to find out more about the brewery but the website is odd...BA.com says they are in Sweden but the bottle said it was brewed in Maryland...anyways, it was great stuff and I would love to try more of their beers and figure out who the hell they are.

    That is a great DIPA.

Maybe they are a gypsy brewery like Evil Twin, or it was a collaboration?

Either way I am glad I got to try it?

I believe they are a gypsy brewery - if you look at the beers on their website, it tells you where each beer was brewed.

Gypsy brewer from Sweden. As far as I know, and I could be wrong, they've brewed in the US and Belgium, and possibly Brazil? Only heard good things.

The Fatamorgana looked like pulpy orange juice after my initial pour. It was different, it was delicious, it didn't last long.

Literally drank Fatamorgana 3 hours ago....insane nose on it, with a decidedly unique, no-nonsense flavoring.

Big fan of the one offering I've been able to try out from them (Nebuchadnezzar). Unsure where to find out West, though I have had it on tap at Torst in Brooklyn.

I've had nebuchadnezzar, Nathalius, Marazan, Russian Roulette, and Leon. All pricey and very good. Usually very low sweetness and mandarin and lemon hops.

Agamemnon (maple syrup imperial stout) is killer from them too

Nebuchadnezzar is one of the most exciting dipas I've had in the last couple years. Only found it one time at Oblivion Taproom in Orlando, FL, but I will never forget how juicy and citrusy it was! Really hoping I will be able to find Fatamorgana.

As mentioned above they are a Swedish brewery, a large part of their beer so far have been brewed at De Proefbrouwerij in Belgium. They have used other breweries such as De Molen, Amager, Pub Dog & Montseny. They have a model of operation similar to Evil Twin and To Øl. The breweries that they use have a proven track record, experiences with these kinds of deals, the recipies are solid as are the ingredients etc. I have had 3 of their beers so far, quite enjoyed all 3.

Obviously given how they operate, high prices are to be expected.

Tried Nebuchadnezzar over a year ago, was awesome, also had their collab with To Ol, Brewmance, pretty good.

Wish I'd seen their beers pop up here again.

Anyone find their bottles in bottle shops? I am guessing I could but I have only seen it at a bar I frequent...

Unsure how far their bottles make it nationally, but in addition to my local (NYC) bottle shops having them, I've seen them at Whole Foods.

In NC, the Omnipollo I've had was contract brewed out Maryland as well. I tried to look up Pub Dog Brewery but their site was down. The Omnipollo story is also a bit unusual and enjoyed reading it on their website.

Just picked up my third Fatamorgana. Very "Heady-like" in nose and appearance. Gave the taste dept a decent run for the money.

A bit $$$ but what the heck.
