I would say "You wouldn't want to see him when he's angry", but I don't think I ever have. Drunk on the other hand...that's a different story.

Landed blackberry and persimmon reservations. Refreshed page at noon and had no issues. I didn't try to land raspberry, as I don't remember it being that amazing last year.

It is disappointing to see their non-attention to the excessive muling that's been causing locals to get shut out for the last 3-4 releases. I've talked with them about it, but it just doesn't seem to be something they feel like addressing (likely for understandable reasons), so it is what it is. I've bought every sour they've bottled back to batch 1; got shut out on this one, but I'll live.

Didn't try and get these online. Just going to wait til they hit the shelves here in Milwaukee like last year.

Don't most of the fruit lambics end up on the shelves in Bloomington though?

this is what I was thinking - they usually hold back a few cases of each for local release after the reservations have ended; that's how i've always gotten my bottles in past releases... it's one of the things i like about upland's release format - they make sure some stays local

You do realize that it is mostly locals doing the muling. My good trading buddy always picks my bottles up for me. We have had this relationship for almost 2 years. He has missed some reservations himself, but always seems to land bottles. I think he has good luck hitting the brewery after the last pickup day. There was also a chance to get bottles and go to the sour tasting this year. I think the locals have plenty of opportunities to get bottles. I am glad Upland gives me a chance to reserve bottles. I have been supporting their sour program since batch 1 and want to continue supporting them when I can.

It takes quite a bit to make me really angry. Depending on how much I've eaten that day, the same may, or may not be said for making me really drunk.

I as well missed out for the first time in a long time, however will still be picking up bottles for people if they need me too. If anyone has an extra bottle, let me know!

Has anyone looked at their email confirmation? Apparently you have to print out tickets and bring with you. Then theres 4 steps under event details. Step 3 says Gilgamesh is yours. I'm not getting my hopes up, but its making me think I'm getting a free bottle of gilgamesh to go along with my purchased lambics.

My guess is that they just didn't change the text from the Gilgamesh release.

the instructions in the email are all inconsistent. No where in the 4 steps does it say to bring the tickets with you, but the tickets say you must bring them with you. I doubt there is a free Gilgamesh involved; however, if there is, I will take it.
