Maybe a few. Obviously someone knew if they were drinking it at TG last night. I think all the regulars knew and who they told was up to them.

I honestly hope that anyone who scores a bottle actually drinks it (preferably with friends) rather than trade it away.

This is the best way to do a limited, my brother lives there and buys them this way. If I buy, I have to pick up. I spend money on bottles and at the brewery on their beer. No butt hurt.

Or try to auction it off with a ridiculous minimum bid.

It's fair. I'll happily invest in a trip to Iowa (or MN, or CA, or VT) for ticketd releases. I prefer 2-4 weekd pick-up windows because I love hitting breweries when they aren't packed. It drives local businesses as well- when the heck else am I going to go to Decorah for a weekend and spend a few hundred $'s?

Oh, the misinformation is funny. It was for sale yesterday. It just kept quiet for 24 hours. There was an untappd checkin with a pic yesterday afternoon, but nobody noticed. Damn it, if only I didn't have to work for a living.

I bet they did a one bottle limit so no one accidentally buys six extra bottles and has to sell one for $200 online.

And, meanwhile, everyone is bitching about why there isn't more King Sue, PsuedoSue, etc, because you diverted resources to making a more time intensive beer.

The post by @rocbrewcrew actually makes more sense. And at what point did time and labor become non-cash issues? Compare this to the cost - in time, labor, inputs, and opportunity cost since you're essentially financing yourself when you make a beer that won't be released for many months - to the cost of making PseudoSue, Sosus, etc.

If I had saw this when I got home from work, I would have made it in time. Now I think I'll miss it again. Oh well, maybe next year
