Morris County NJ suggestions

    hi all- moving next week to Chester from union county. Anyone local familiar with any can't miss bottle shops / bars in the area? Familiar with the shop rite liquors on 206 and some of the bars in Morristown but not much else.

    Suggestions appreciated, especially if any of these places get NJ brewed carton cans. Thanks!

    Liquor Outlet in Boonton is one of the best bottle shops in NJ. Poor Henry's is right down the street and has a great tap selection.

    Other good bottle shops- both Gary's in Madison and Bernardsville. I know the one in Madison gets Carton cans, sometimes you just have to ask for them. Also Bottle King in Morris Plains at the intersection of Rt 202 & Rt 10.

    Also some good recommendations in this thread if you're willing to travel a little bit south:

    If you are willing to drive 20 minutes north (into Sussex County) you will find some terrific growler options with very good pricing at the Liquor Factory. They are currently running a $5 off 64oz fills promotion which translates to $8.99 for Head High and Carton 077XX for $9.99 - and these are pretty much mainstays, they have 12 draft offers and get some nice stuff. I am new to the area and have cashed in on this many times already, much easier than driving to Monmouth county.
