    Stumbled across this on Facebook earlier. Apparently somebody's making three Mortal Kombat themed beers -- an imperial IPA, stout, and saison, all named after a character from the game series. (Don't think I've heard the phrase "imperial saison" before, but I suppose they're making "imperial/double" versions of pretty much everything now. XD)

    Johnny Cage should be an AAL.
    Kano should be a Russian Imperial Stout.
    Sonya should be a blonde ale.

    I read this and said "Finish him" out loud. Also, didn't care much for the Game of Thrones or Hobbit beers. Granted they are from different brewers, just seems when they try to endorse a show, game, etc. it's more for the publicity than the beer. We will shortly find out that Mortal Kombat is coming out with a 20 something anniversary game.

    What's up with the video game and movie themed beers? Are we going to see Disney sponsoring beers for Frozen, Finding Nemo, Lion King, etc. STOP THIS MADNESS NOW!!!!!!

    They're being made by Sound Brewing in Poulsbo WA. A pretty good brewery, these beers won't be horrid. Well, I think any stout with chili's has the potential to be horrid, but other than that they should be at least solid.
