I visit Coeur D'Alene/Spokane 1-2 times a year. Selkirk Abbey is just off I90 between Spokane and CDA, cool taproom and some pretty good beers. Enoteca is a great bottle shop in Post Falls
In pullman there is paradise creek brewing, http://paradisecreekbrewery.com/ In moscow there is moscow brewing with pretty good but not very many beers, http://www.moscowbrewing.com/ The alehouse in moscow had some good beers and used to be home to coeur d'alene brewing alehouse but the brewery went out of business but the alehouse in moscow is still open. John's Alley is a dive bar but they have an ok tap selection with super low prices. Also remember in Idaho you can get kegs direct from the distributor so you can throw parties with kegs of arrogant bastard, imperial ipas, stouts, or whatever you want. You can personally walk into the distributor and pick out whatever you want. There are a lot of good things going on in Spokane, check out the beerfly and places section here on BA: http://beeradvocate.com/beerfly/list?city=Spokane&c_id=US&s_id=WA You may get better responses if you post this in the Northwest forum section, good luck
Slate Creek in Cd'A has some good, very fresh, beers if they are not sold out during their tasting room hours Thurs to Sat. Although a bit light bodied I like their Belgian single, & 6 weight IPA. The Mountain Hop IPA is into full bodied but a rotation beer that isn't always available. The Iron Goat in Spokane (now open Tues to Sat) has some decent offerings.
