NOT any of the murkbombs, that's for sure!

Duvel, Orval, La Fin du Monde, stuff along those lines. I also love the deep colors of Old Ales and Barleywines. North Coast Old Stock for example.

Always been a fan of a bright hazy ipa, not the hazy turbid juice stuff. One beer that always did it right was the OG Nelson.

My favorites are always amber or brown. Never cared for beer that's the same color coming out as it is going in! That said, I've had quite a few yellow/golden beers that surprised the hell out of me. Like JackHorzempa said: "Eyes of the beholder".

I appreciate the absolute clarity, the correct amount of carbonation, and the right sized foam head with good retention of a well crafted Pilsner.

I discussed Tired Hands Rose in today's NBS thread. I would not categorize this beer as being "most beautiful" since I think the amount of haze is too much in this beer but I figured I would post the photo since I had it and it is a rather interesting looking beer.

    Cheers!

I do have a soft spot for the ‘hop soup/hop custard’ effect that certain pales provide:

That is a good color. Unfortunately, I've never had one like that. :frowning2:

In the New Beer Sunday thread, Dale (@nc41) made the comment that the beer looked like a Framboise. I agree with him.

    Cheers!

    Has anyone had Romulan Ale?

It would appear that maybe there is a relationship with Kölsch since the serving glass is a Stange?

    Prost!

Beautiful. I have an Ommegang Rosetta I haven't opened yet. Hopefully, It'll be the "elusive" red for me.

My bad. I just went through my beer list. I had a Framboise Lambic last October that poured red. I guess all this beer is frying my memory.

it you call a beer a Rose’ it would seem appropriate that it looked the part. BTW I love Lindemans, it’s a nice break, as is anything fruited and New Glarus.

And @SABERG discussed another Rosé appearing beer in today's NBS; today must be Rosé day (and I didn't get that memo).

    Cheers!

Well, I'll counter with (Adroit Theory):

Though actually, a nicely layered pour can be fetching.
From Ocelot (I swear the bartender did a triple layer at some point, but I can't find the image):

Craig, is that middle beer a Romulan Ale? And if so, why wasn't it served in a Stange glass?

    Cheers!
