Not at all proud of how much I paid for that one bottle, but I guess it was worth it as s one time experience

Just updating - for big bottles (25 oz), those two still take the prize, with Bois close behind at like $34. That's like .69/oz of beer.
I recently had the Rosso e Marrone, a 13 oz bottle, for $20 - and that comes in close at .65/oz of beer.

FWIW: every ounce of each bottle was worth every cent.

Def worth it. Take the price factor out and remember how ridiculously drinkable it was. Money was already spent....

I believe I payed $13 for a bomber of St. Bernardus Abt 12. Not -too- pricey, but still a bit lofty compared to other beers.

It was a special event. Doubt there will be another one for sale like that.

A bottle of BCBS rare last weekend. Was $110. But I split the price with my boyfriend so it wasn't too terrible.

The $29.99 I just spent on Black Tuesday last Tuesday. I also paid $29.99 for a Cantillon a couple of months ago. Gees beer is getting expensive!

It wasn't something well-known. It was out at a tasting event in Arlington Heights that I would not have known about had I not seen a picture posted by a BA friend on Instagram.

Before Victory Hop Devil was easily available in my area, a restaurant had it as a guest beer. A friend and I finegled the server a bit and got her to sell us a six-pack at the menu price per bottle. Ended up being about $30.

I was real stupid with money when I lived with my parents.
