So this genre of thread seems to be popular, but I have only seen people complain about the price of growler fills more generally. Seems like high time for one on what the most someone has been willing to pay. Probably also worth trying to convert to price per liter since sometimes big beers con only be filled in smaller growlers.

My biggest was BBA Token from Alpine, back when they would do fills of that kind of thing. 40 bucks for 64 oz. So something like 20 bucks per liter.

I saw a local bottle shop wanting ~60 for 64oz of black albert... which based on my free sample was already oxidized....

40 dollars for a fill? Good lord. Ive seen 32 oz "Theobroma" by dogfish head go for about 20 bucks though, so yeah. Most I've ever paid was 18 dollars for a 64 oz. Stone's "enjoy by", it was fantastic.

Expo would probably go for about that price if they offered fills of it...

BCBS & BBCBW are expensive fills, around $30 per 64oz.

Societe the Butcher was expensive for 32oz, but even that was around $15. So not too bad, considering you can't get bottles.

I paid $41 for a fill of Haymarket Acrimonious, breaks down to about $13 a bomber's worth so I was pleased.

BCBS / BCBBW / BCBCS at $30/64oz is a pretty good price actually.

I didn't buy one, but that bar usually charges $15 for "specialty" fills and $30 for "rare" fills.

Pliny liter bottles sell for 7, so you got a bit of a deal. Who was doing Pliny fills?

Seen Pannepot Reserva going for around $55-60, and a few beers of similar ilk in the same range. Don't think I've ever seen anything over 60

Perrin malted milk ball imperial porter is $61 for a growler. Very expensive but worth every penny in my opinion, beer is absolutely amazing.

Cycle Nooner and Rare Dos and RareR last year were $25 or $30, i believe, for 16 oz growlers. Do the math on that for a 64. $100-$120

Well god damn...I traded a Funky Buddha growler for one and it was delicious. Didn't realize they were that expensive, don't remember if I had to add anything. I had the Nooner and it was like a bourbon soaked brownie in a glass...I should really try to get it again.
