Just to make sure, a case of Love Child #5 is 12 750ml bottles? Because a shop near me has it now for $9.99/bottle. I've already bought 4 and am wondering whether I need to grab more at that price. Delicious stuff!

Not neccisarily most expensive but I went in to a local bottle shop today just to look. Ended up leaving with $40 less and two bottles.

Sixteen bottles from the bottle store in North Carolina on Tuesday set me back $266. Got a couple bombers at a bottle store in Richmond Monday night. Hoping to hit my favorite bottle store downtown Charleston, SC tomorrow morning while wife is getting hair done.

I've been on the road 78 days now and have bought/drank beer in 23 states so far this trip; don't want to think about how much I spent while in California (5 visits to Russian River alone)...and someone said we'd go broke drinking beer? They were right...Oh well, cheers!

Just spent over $300 at a bottle shop while on vacation. Would have been more, but they wouldn't break up 6-packs.

On a single haul, I don't think I ever broke $100, and even on all my hauls for a week, I probably didn't go much over $150. But I think you guys buy bigger hauls because they last longer - 'specially you cellar dudes - I have no cellar, so I'm just shopping for what I'm drinking over the next few days.

Hmm...I think around $160 from various places in one day...and that made me gasp. We all have different budgets though, so it makes sense we all buy different hauls.

When I've had pick ups at St. Sixtus we'd always go to a local drink market along the drive as well, so in total, probably close to 500 EUR. :grimacing:

I usually spend around $600-$800 on our Denver trip and about the same when we go to N. Carolina. This is several stops at different stores or breweries. There is a reason that I drive a Super Duty!

Spent about $750 in bottle shops and a trip to Hill Farmstead last week. By far the most I've dished out. Worth it? But of course. This was just the Hill:

I don't think I've ever spent over $100 at once, but not due to ethics, morals, self control, or a lack of selection. Nope, I'm just constantly broke.

200-300 when I was first getting into cellaring I tried to fill the whole mini fridge I was using to age e beer as quickly as possible. It's over a year since then and the majority of what's in there is from the first few purchases.

I went back today and bought two more. The weird thing is that this store usually has slightly higher prices than other nearby stores. It could have been a pricing error for Love Child (Saison Brett was sitting right next to it on the shelf for $13.99) but it's not like it was priced at $5.99 or something egregious. So I'll just content myself that I got a great deal on an awesome beer, and a sour no less - it's hard to find amazing sours at reasonable prices!

Ive spent many, many dollars on beer. Probably way too much.

This was maybe a year ago, when they released 3L supplication at the brewery. I paid a lovely friend to dig up her four friends and each purchase their limit of one bottle. If you know what these cost, go from there. I also paid her a handsome fee for her trouble. That's my story for the day of the most expensive haul I have ever spent on "one" transaction. Cheers!

For me it was over the past week in Vt. On vacation Between my wife and I, two cases of heady, one case of sos, 5 growlers from hf, 1 growler from fiddlehead and 1 from rock art, 12 random bombers and at least another case of miscellaneous beer I'm guessing it was around $500. And who knows how much more we spent drinking at the 12 breweries we visited. Definitely worth it.

Depends on the time frame of a haul. I can easily pick up $200 worth of beer in a week to add to my cellar. My single biggest day was when I visited The Lost Abbey during a work trip. $168 for a mixed case of their finest available that day at the brewery.
