Spent about $750 in bottle shops and a trip to Hill Farmstead last week. By far the most I've dished out. Worth it? But of course. This was just the Hill:

NY gets Prairie, Almanac, Crooked Stave, Perennial, Bells, Westbrook, Jacks Abbey, etc. Its always hard to keep my wallet in my pocket there.

I don't think I've ever spent over $100 at once, but not due to ethics, morals, self control, or a lack of selection. Nope, I'm just constantly broke.

Over $1200 at Hill Farmstead. Total Vermont weekend ran a little over $1700.

200-300 when I was first getting into cellaring I tried to fill the whole mini fridge I was using to age e beer as quickly as possible. It's over a year since then and the majority of what's in there is from the first few purchases.

Case of BA blackout stout. Can't remember the price but I believe it was in the $200s. Rediculous

I got quite the haul at Alpine for my birthday a few years back

Wife wouldn't tell me the total but my best guess is about ~160ish

Day 1: $250 at SARA -> $120 Russian River -> $450 at a local shop that was selling Cantillon
Day 2 (not beer): $1200 in Napa on 4 bottles of wine

I went back today and bought two more. The weird thing is that this store usually has slightly higher prices than other nearby stores. It could have been a pricing error for Love Child (Saison Brett was sitting right next to it on the shelf for $13.99) but it's not like it was priced at $5.99 or something egregious. So I'll just content myself that I got a great deal on an awesome beer, and a sour no less - it's hard to find amazing sours at reasonable prices!

Ive spent many, many dollars on beer. Probably way too much.

This was maybe a year ago, when they released 3L supplication at the brewery. I paid a lovely friend to dig up her four friends and each purchase their limit of one bottle. If you know what these cost, go from there. I also paid her a handsome fee for her trouble. That's my story for the day of the most expensive haul I have ever spent on "one" transaction. Cheers!

For me it was over the past week in Vt. On vacation Between my wife and I, two cases of heady, one case of sos, 5 growlers from hf, 1 growler from fiddlehead and 1 from rock art, 12 random bombers and at least another case of miscellaneous beer I'm guessing it was around $500. And who knows how much more we spent drinking at the 12 breweries we visited. Definitely worth it.

Depends on the time frame of a haul. I can easily pick up $200 worth of beer in a week to add to my cellar. My single biggest day was when I visited The Lost Abbey during a work trip. $168 for a mixed case of their finest available that day at the brewery.

Walked into trillium with my gf, bought about $150 worth of beer. As I'm packing it up, i hear her say, " I'll get what he just got." Was I supposed to tell her no?
