I was going to say Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby Mild, but it seems there may be even stronger milds around. Still fairly extreme for the style.

Hottest/spiciest beer - Elevator Ghost Scorpion Lager (batch 1 or the pepper hopped version served at firey foods fest day 1). Best uses include cooking with it and pouring samples to random strangers at DLD

Are you talking about just extreme ABV, or extreme in other manners? There are plenty of beers that get crazy without having really high ABV

Mothers Brewing MILF - Imperial Stout aged in Rum, Sherry, Whiskey, Brandy, and Bourbon barrels with cocoa nibs and raisins at 11% ABV.

Praire Ales just announced a rum barrel aged version of Bomb! - 14% ABV stout aged in rum barrels with cocoa nibs, coffee, vanilla beans, and ancho chiles. I imaging some the Hunahpu variants are similar as well.

I was thinking from dumb ass high ABV to Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Bacon Maple Ale and everything in between.

I think when it comes to Belgian styles the beers of Brasserie Dubuisson are up there. The flagship, Bush Ambrée (12%) is extremely strong, sweet and sticky and there's a version called Bush Prestige which is even stronger (13%).

"Extreme" goes a lot further to me than just the ABV. I mean, we could just copy/paste the Strongest Beer list from "the other site" in that case.

The Amager Hr. Frederiksen was pretty damn extreme as far as imperial stouts go. It was an anise bomb. Too much for me, I actually hate anise unless it's fairly subtle like fennel bulbs. Or of course in brilliant stouts like the Stone Belgo Anise. That stuff was deelish.

Just for the record: the Hunahpu stouts only SOUND totally extreme and off the charts. The main reason why I love them is because of their balance.

Their XVIII is pretty up there for a weizenbock, too- like 11%. Unfortunately it would have been a much better beer if they dropped it down a few notches.

Dogfish Head's World Wide Stout is a pretty extreme stout - it is to the stout what their 120 is to the (D)IPA.

I don't doubt that Hunahpu is awesome and balanced. But the ingridients are far from normal and verge on the extreme. Stick all that in a barrel and I'd say extreme is a fairly accurate description. They are very extreme when compared to the "normal" and "average" idea of what a stout is.
