I'm not from Michigan but I am from the US. And since hopslam is the most hyped beer in the country I can say, for me, that it's definitely Michigans most hyped beer.

As far as PA goes I would say everything voodoo that isn't barrel aged or rare. I've never had their big hitters like GNVP or MBP but their regular year round stuff is at very best average.

I disagree that hopslam is the most hyped beer in the country. I see alot of ISO:FT threads that disagree as well.

I guess because i never hear about kane and idk what part of NJ you are but i hear a lot more people ask for carton beers in my store than kane. Im aware that region may not matter because they are within 20 min of each other. But i should give Kane a shot ive not had a beer from them.

Being from outside NJ, I would say the most-hyped NJ beer is ANTEAD

I guess I say this because I have friends who crush Busch pounders on the regular and consider Yuengling craft who also chase hopslam so they can check in on social media and post that they're drinking it. It's not a bad beer, it's just not anything life changing or going out of the way for imo. And when people who don't know much about craft beer regard finding it is the holy grail like they just acquired westveren and kbbs... It is indeed pretty well hyped and heard of. Again, it's not bad, it's just way blown out of proportion imo.

Yeah, being from MD and getting to try a few Hardywood's, I don't quite understand all the forum talk and trade love for their beers.

Now Aslin...they are the real deal IMO. Hype driven by high quality product.
Same for Brothers Resolute and variants. Real deal as well.

I'd say Delaware does really have any hype beers right now. DFH new releases always some to get attention, but no hype. I would say that Mispillion Not Today Satan got a little bit of hype it the area, but not the same level I see for beers in MD, PA, and NJ.

Their probably right about Kane getting more hype. I've only had Single Fin and Head High from Kane but judging by the way people fight on the NJ beer boards about access to Kane's limited releases like ANTEAD, it gets pretty crazy. I like both breweries a lot from what I have had but it just seems for me that Carton has more beers I have been able to try and I don't trade and live far enough from both of them that I don't see myself getting to the breweries anytime soon.

Yes you should go to Carton and Kane at once.
Carton probably gets asked for more often because they are actually in some stores.
Kane is only available at the brewery.

I'm not saying Kane is better. I'm an simply saying that Kane has more hype. People were lining up on Saturday mornings hoping that Sunday Brunch would be released.
When ANTEAD was released on Brown Paper Ticket the bottles were gone within seconds and it kinda crashed the system.

This time next year, I have a feeling we will be adding Conclave to the hyped list. So enjoy it while you can.

I forgot about BA WWS for Delaware, didn't even cross my mine because I never seen it! I would say it has really hype.

As for Maryland a lot of people had brought up Double Duckpin and RAR brewery only cans and from what I've had both are worth the hype.

I think there's probably more widespread hype over some of Fremont's stuff, so I'll vote for Rusty Nail.

Well, until the new brewery that the folks that used to work at Jester King are starting opens up. They might become WAs Wolves & People.

I'll see the CBS and Hopslam nominations above for Michigan, but I'll bump the pot and add Bell's Black Note. Any beer that is able to keep a 2015 thread in the GL forum still pumping the hype into August, 2016, has to be on this list.
