Wyoming: Melvin 2x4 or any Melvin for that matter. I live in Idaho but a stones throw from Wyoming . I honestly cannot think of a hyped beer from Idaho although I personally get hyped about Woodland Empire stuff and Grand Tetons barrel aged Brett Saison. I'm just happy I live a within a hour of Melvin and Snake River.

    Cheers

PS: I hype SRs Zonkers Stout every chance I get! If you haven't had it you should!

For Florida it's probably Hunahpu. CCB has Hunahpu day just like 3 Floyds has Dark Lord day. Pay hundreds, get a few bottles. Meh. Also, people from other regions seem to hype Jai Alai, which is great, but just super common to us here.

I'm in the SF area, but not aware of any hyped beers in the state.

I think Kane's BA beers are underrated and its IPA's are overrated. In my mind, no one in Jersey, and few brewers in the US, produce BA beers comparable to Kane. But I'd take some of Magnify's IPA's over Head High, which I think is overrated.

In Illinois - GI's barrel aged stuff for sure.

More locally, Mikerphone's IPA's are super hyped these days.

From NY? All of the Grimm IPAs and sours, as well as anything from Other Half and Singlecut.

I didn't mention under or over rated or best or worst. Simply what brewery gets the most hype. It's hard to call Kane's BA beers underated. They are highly rated and highly sought after. And they deserve.

Magnify"a IPAs better than Head High. That is blasphemous.

An Idaho brewery that I love, and am very happy that gets no hype, is Selkirk Abbey. While they are technically in Idaho, we've adopted them as Washington brewery, being as they're just over the border from Spotucky.

Just had my first carton beers courtesy of a trade and was very impressed. Had 077XX and 07747 Galaxy. Both were within 10 days of canning and both were damn tasty. Wouldn't mind trying more of their offerings in the future. Cheers!

Haven't seen anyone give a shout out to Arizona yet so I will run this up the old flag pole and see who salutes. As far as IPA's go, my three hyped beers in the state would be:

    AZ Wilderness Brewing- Refuge IPA
    Dragoon Brewing- Dragoon IPA
Mother Road Brewing- Tower Station IPA

There are also some other amazing breweries here that do some pretty amazing stuff like:
    Beer Research Institute
Wren House Brewing (One of my favorites)
McFate Brewing (formerly known as Fate and another favorite hangout)

I think in five years Arizona will be another well known destination for great beer. I have only been here four years and have witnessed amazing growth and some damn good product that unfortunately, is only locally or regionally known right now...but????

Nice call, I had Selkirk Abbey Chaple the other day and it was spot on! I know it's A readily available grocery store beer and I am sure their other beers are excellent. Hope to find more of then around.

    Cheers

Texas -- Jester King's Atrial Rubicite, as others have pointed out, is our undisputed hype champ (turns out, it's awfully tasty in real life, too )

Lone Pint Yellow Rose is still on the board, as is Live Oak's Hefeweizen, though it's funny how hype works. Those two beers might've been Nos. 1-2 not long ago. Yellow Rose is now No. 3 and Live Oak Hefe No. 5 on the Texas list, and my bet is they will fall to the back of the Top 10 over the next year or two. Both will be just as tasty, but hype is very hard to hold onto for long periods of time.

CT hype = Fuzzy Baby Ducks. Not even Double Fuzzy can create the same hype as FBD. Weather at the brewery or on tap at a bar, people line up.

Rhode Island: Grey Sail Captain's Daughter. Although I enjoy the less over-the-top Proclamation Derivative pale ales a little better.
