Orval. Fresh or aged . . . though I prefer it about 18 months old.

Really surprised only one person has mentioned Deschutes - The Abyss. Phenomenal beer. Literally blew my mind the first time I had it. I was not ready.

I posted earlier. But upon looking at the title of this post, I'd have to add Dogfish Head World Wide Stout. An "extreme" beer in it's high ABV. But it is very complex and not harsh despite it's high alcohol content. Very unique.

Project Dank get's my vote for "most complex IPA ever."

Every sip tasted different. Earthy, dirty pine the first sip. Tropical fruits the next sip. Peaches and cream. "Dank." Citrus rind.

So upsetting I have only 2 bottles left now...

I think I have to give it to Epic Ales' Salty Ghosts, Belgian Sour made with Sea Salt, neither of which seem to overwhelm the rest of the flavor medley going on too much.

North Coast Oldstock Ale 2013. I remember getting something new with each sip when I drank this fresh. Got some waiting for me to try when they get some age on them.

Brasserie Dupont La Foret was exceedingly layered, I thought very intriguing. Wiehenstephaner Korbinian was a new flavor every time I took a sip I discovered a new nuance. Winner, though, is Firestone Walker Sucuba. That one was a true challenge to place.

I found Cherry Adam from HOTD to have a wide range of flavours and a ton of complexity. Stille Nacht Reserva was super interesting with a lot of things going on. Westy 12 too for sure.
