Most Nostalgic Beer

    IBU's? Yes I am that much of a noob (please be gentle with the hazing!).

    I get what you are saying, but Bud, Miller, and Coors all pretty much have always tasted the same to me - is it the traveling? Rainier used to be brewed a 100 miles away from me but it always tasted like underpowered Miller and still tastes the same now. Oly just had a little different about it.

    I used to drink Erlanger back in Florida in the late 70s early 80s. I thought the odd shaped bottle was cool.

    I had a Stag (in the bottle) near Scott AFB in Illinois November 2015.

    I have two beers that stick out in my mind. On my going away party in late 1983 (heading to Paris Island for Marine Boot Camp) my buddies bought a keg of Haffenreffer Private Stock Malt Liquor and it did some sever damage to the 8 of us.
    The second beer was Zunft. This was the first beer that my dad and I drank a ton of and had our first adult moment together. It was in a Portuguese restaurant in Germany. I was 18 visiting my family. I lived in Florida finishing high school. a great memory.
