I will add Epic (Utah) and Uinta to the list.

Agreed, and hit or miss, though I was happy paying $15 for Imp Biscotti. I generally like his brother's beers more.

    Try Cellar Door

Agreed that Ballast Point is def overpriced and IMO Sculpin is overrated.

Every non-Schlafly brewer in St. Louis is overpriced, particularly Perennial. Schlafly special releases and large format releases are also overpriced. $9.99 Schlafly AIPA?

Almost all bombers and 750s are overpriced. But hey, that is why the formats exist. More $ / ounce. Way more margin.

Almost any non-barrel aged/imperial style 6-pack over $10 is overpriced IMHO. I believe the sweet-spot for craft six pack pricing is $6.99 - $8.99. beyond that and there's a bit of gouging going on. Having said that, pricing is totally dependent on region/state, distributors, retailers, etc. Its not fair to blame the prices all on the brewery.

I was going to mention HF, although I'm guilty of usually trying their new stuff. They make REALLY good beers, and they've been on fire lately. But yeah their prices have never been considered value for locals, and I know it's probably even more out of state. $20 for a bomber of Hop Dam??

Yeah, trying to add more context to understand why someone holds the opinion they do is really silly.

I'm going to agree with many on here and say Bruery, Lost Abbey and Rogue.

You think that's what a post like this

is really trying to accomplish? Sounds less like "adding more context to understand why someone holds the opinion they do" and more like "you guys are wrong because this is what it's like where I'm at.

Agreed, I had 9 of his beers at a tasting and like 3-4 of them were good.

I can't agree with all the hate on Mikkeller. His good dark beers are well worth the price, especially as imports from Denmark. Certainly, his mediocre brighter brews are far overpriced.

I agree with most of these suggestions and they really make me appreciate Sierra Nevada that much more. Always affordable, available, and full of quality.

Definitely! My favorite liquor store. Fortunately for me I work 1 or 2 miles away, go there most fridays afterwork for a tasting. They definitely price it as competitively as anywhere but, I can often find better six packs (or four packs) for less at the store.

DFH for sure. Rogue is not overpriced, look at their awards they won. Its like every beer has won something. Im NW bias, but rogue is $$$. $6 bombers is about right. DFH 90min ipa way too much for an avg ipa

I'd second Jolly Pumpkin... Just wish they'd lower their prices a couple dollars, their beers are very tasty for the most part. Many of them I would like to try again.

Also Stillwater, decent beer, but I'd rather pay the same amount for the real stuff. Haven't had anything from them that I must have again.

What are you buying from Great Divide for $26?

Definitely Dogfish Head. Festina Peche should not cost me $11 for a 4 pack. Especially since it goes down so easy.
