Leinenkugel is overpriced up here. That stuff should be cheap.

I second this. I can't bring myself to pay 18 dollars for a beer when I can get the same or better quality for half that

Odells Bombers and North Coast Bombers. Usually good stuff from both but there is too much other good stuff way cheaper on the shelves.

Ruination is $10 a 4-pack by me. And why would you bother comparing Ruination with Two Hearted? Completely different styles

Guess it depends on what you like. I think their beers are worth the price.

Well, there is that regional price thing coming back into play...and also personal preference. I could probably say the same thing about a couple dozen other breweries, so I do see your point.

Rogue. Very unjustified pricey 6pks. As someone who works at a liqour store, I keep the Rogue skus to a minimum-dead guy 6pk and 22oz, Shakespeare oatmeal, hazelnut brown nectar, and chocolate stout 22oz. The Bruery prices are a little ridiculous.

Sixpoint is a little more expensive in the Houston area. 4 pack of 3beans was $12.99

You've been a BA for 7 years and you think a $10 bomber is expensive? I see plenty of comments about BAs happily paying $10-20 for a bomber if they think it's a good beer. Also, note that I said "Hoppin Frog beers are slightly on the high side but reasonable for the quality..." Considering the ratings their beers get, I would expect to see them priced as they are. The comments here are about beers that don't deserve their prices.

Besides, most Buckeyes think Cincinnati isn't really part of Ohio anyway. ;-)

I got one for $8.99. For 12 oz. that's the most I've ever spent. I like lil B, but its also much cheaper, like $13-14 for a 4-pack. I like it a lot - haven't tried the others bc of price either... point proven in general. Evil Twin is spendy.

Two things: Although listed as an Oud Bruin, it is the pure aged portion of their Oud Bruin. Apparently it was not released unblended until Michael Jackson suggested it to them upon having a sample at the brewery.

Second, yes, Not the same beer, but there's nothing Technical about Tart of Darkness to recommend 3x the price of an Old world, long aged sour. It's absurd. It's market positioning.

I wonder if all the markets that The Bruery's products sit are made up for the assumably narrow markets where the premium get's paid. Occasionally the local Big Box bottle shop here does pretty extreme deep discounts on Bruery stuff. IIRC I grabbed a $5 five golden rings there this spring.

Mostly agree, though I don't mind paying for their Chocolate Stout. I love that beer. I don't really care about the rest.

Has anyone said the Bruery and Rogue yet? If not, then the Bruery and Rogue.

I can get Yella Pils, Dales, and Old Chub for 10 bucks a sixer but their other beers are priced a lot higher. Ten Fidy for example is like 15 or 16 bucks.

Hop Stoopid $4 a bomber not as good as Panzy Wolf but I'll pass over that beer anyday. Apocalypse Cow is the only one worth the price.

Nobody posted Brewdog after 6 pages and people are complaining about breweries that charge less than 10 dollars for a bomber or six pack, wtf!

I guess I should elaborate, their every day beers are decent and a go to when I need cans. It is their seasonal stuff that I find to be pretty over priced. That being said, I will be buying Ten Fidy when it is available this year in Michigan.

Maine Beer has some fantastic brews, but their price point is ill-conceived. I almost never buy them anymore.

Founders has some of the best beer in the world, but I usually can't afford it. Every now and then I'll splurge, though.

Hoppin' Frog was becoming a favorite until the prices went up. Now I just don't buy them ever.
