I respect your opinion, and I do like Black Tuesday, but too many of their beers are too expensive for what you get, in my opinion.

There are more overpriced beers out there than there are posts in this thread.

I'd have to agree with The Bruery, although they did get $36.99 out of me today when I bought a bottle of Bois at my local shop.

None of the beers I've tried from these guys has impressed me, not sure I'll ever buy them again

Well, I buy it at a local grocery store in a town just above the Illinois/Wisconsin border. I would assume because it's not a liquor store, there's little to no mark-up. They also have no limit on purchasing quantity, so I was able to grab four bottles of the anniversary ale when it got there. Definitely the way to go.

I agree, Sculpins good but not that good. I'd choose Hop Stoopid or West Coast by GF any day to be honest.

    DFH, The Bruery, and Rogue.
Havent had any Mikkeller yet so I'll hold my tongue on that one. They seem a bit pricey though.

Seriously?? 10+12 bucks for excellent six packs is too much?

right, i said i wouldn't call them overpriced, but 12.99 is expensive no matter how good the beer is, i don't think its an unfair price just a high one.

Founders is not overpriced, I've never had a beer from them that I thought wasn't worth it. In fact, they're one of the most reliable breweries, IMO.

I'll pay $13.00 for a six pack of great beer all day, and I'm broke as shit.

Anyone around the IN area see Four Horsemen on shelves? Specifically Hop Rush, it's
more than Bells 2Hearted in most places in northern IN and it's a complete garbage IPA. Bland describes their full lineup IMO

The Bruery and Allagash. Perhaps the beers are really that expensive to make, but I'm not willing to fork out $20+/beer on a regular basis.

I wonder if people give Leinie inflated ratings because they are ashamed of having paid for it.

I think part of it is the prices are all over the place. I mean did you pay 30 or 36 for Bois. 30 is expensive 36 is overpriced. If you see a bottle of Bolt cutter on the shelf still it is probably because the liquor store is asking 30 plus obviously to much.
