even with the price increase this year you're paying $10 a bottle. i bought a case last week. also a case of lagunitas high west $10 per. the best easily available beers in the world for $10.

my overpriced list is too long to mention. stick with great, reasonable beer and stop chasing the big ticket items. i like to drink, not collect, beer. it's not a hobby.

I've done the same thing with tons of Prairie Beers. Only one I've ever grabbed multiples of is Bomb! because I do really enjoy that beer.

I agree with this whole-heartedly. Only thing I can think of is 32oz bottles of Sucks! for $7. Hopslam costs the same as a 6pk of Sculpin. Yeah, I'll take the 10% DIPA for the same price.

Yeah? The same bottles of Pizza Boy Black Sour have been sitting in my go-to shop since last year with the price tag of $46. Who the hell wants to pay that much for a bottle of beer brewed semi-locally?

$11-$12 for a 22oz of a 3% brew? (Cough, cough James Beer) Definitely overpriced.

Technically based on the quality of ingredients (no microbrewery brewmaster would ever admit this) a lot of craft beers are inferior to a lot of beers that aren't considered "craft". We are just tricked into assuming all craft beers are higher quality and also tricked into thinking they are worth $9.99 a six pack. Honestly I've had tons of craft beers that I thought were junk and not worth $5 a six pack, so they are(in my opinion) overpriced.

Yup, Budweiser uses the finest quality ingredients in MASSIVE quantities...or not. They use cheap adjuncts and minimal hops to create light beer with very little flavor.

IMO, both Cascade and Fifty Fifty price their beers far higher than other similar offerings.
If they're able to sell 'em and make $ - rock on. I just know I won't be buying any of them unless they either come down or everyone else goes up. Their beers are both good, but not 25-75% premium good.

Love that for so far The Alchemist and Treehouse are asking less than $4 for a 16 oz can, great value. I always compare craft beer prices to what one would pay for a Bud at a bar ($5ish).

Love Eclipse beers, they're pricy but at least they're outstanding beers. Over priced is Hoppin Frog, and Ballast Point beers, Sculpin at its price point IMO is a joke, its $3 cheaper than it used to be but it's still a dull average IPA.

True story. Crazy thing is the BA version was selling for $11.99. How does this make sense?

It doesn't matter the quality of ingedients. All that matters is the finished product. You can take the finest beef and cook it to hell and destroy the product. Macro breweries take nice ingredients and destroy them to produce an inferior product.

A big offender IMO, it's $10 a bottle here and at best it's mediocre. Mexican Cake kills it when it's released. A never buy for me, all their stuff is too high.

I love the amount people of money people are spending on one bottle of beer. For that same amount, I could get a 12er of SN Torpedo or a case of Lionshead.

Mass must have some steep prices. Everything you mentioned is significantly cheaper in NJ. At least SOMETHING is cheaper in NJ.

I never thoug I'd do it, but I'm guilty like everyone else these days. Sometimes I want quality for a good price (like most SN beers) but sometimes I want that special big bottle and pay a big price.

I like Kent Falls and I know they use local ingredients but I think they may be overpriced/overvalued at $7-$12 for 500ml.

BA Bomb recently showed up here for - get this - $15. I don't envision it flying off the shelves at that price.

In California $7 for a bottle of beer is a steal. Every ipa in pint format or bomber is $7 plus. What do you guys pay for ipas I'm wonderin'?
