Most OverPriced (OverValued) Beer?

    The 50/50 Eclipses are disgustingly overpriced. They're pretty great, but not 3x BCBS great.

    I always read about people buying prairie bombs for $10 and less, but I've yet to spend less than $12, and I think I mostly have paid $14 for bomb, xmas bomb, barrell aged bomb (that might have been more, actually), and vanilla noir. I like them (especially this year's xmas bomb), but now that I've tried them, I wouldn't get them again for those prices. It's a frickin' 12 oz bottle of beer and I'm sitting here spending ~$15 out the door for it? Fuck that.

    Hence the "where you live" comment. Pretty hard pressed to find a BA Stout under $20 in the West so the relative value is very different.

    In my original post I quoted the brewery price, which is $6 and the cheapest you'll find it. Retail stores charge $10 for it in my area. I just can't justify that when Julius is almost half the price for the same amount of beer.
