Prairie gets my vote (also gets my vote for most overpriced) - other than Pirate Bomb I haven't had one that's made me want to drink another.

I also have to say that if a brewery is overrated, voice your opinion in the ratings. Honestly, it's more about the beer in hand than the brewery as a whole. Many brews are overrated to me, and many are underrated. It's the consumer that defines craft.

One thing which I feel is vastly overrated is the apparent obsession of internet users to want to 'rate' everything.

The one from the other side of the country that has no business being shipped that far when there are already so many local options.

Personally, with regards to that list specifically, I don't think people ("hype men" or anyone) "hype" it up. The pure quality of their beers speaks for (and markets) itself, man. Hardly consider them falsely hyped.

Edit: Wait, I think we are actually in agreement here. Sorry, I'm tired and hungover.

Evil Twin -- too many gimmicky flavors. It's like the cereal aisle in a supermarket already.

Anybody who says Wicked weed either hasn't had their sours, doesn't like sours, or doesn't now what they're saying. Hill farmstead makes very delicate but amazingly well crafted beers. Alchemist I could see being called overrated as heady is NOT the best beer (or DIPA) in the world/ country/ state.

    I would say Evil Twin.

Decent beers but nothing outstanding, IMHO. Certainly nothing worth the pricetag.

Not saying I don't love RR's Pliney and Blind Pig but honestly I know so many better IPA's on the market.
To name one that i believe just blows both of those out of the water would be

I love some Hill Farmstead beer, but the best in the world?

I just can't agree, I believe that Stone goes beyond just beer. Their contribution to the craft beer culture just sets them apart from any other brewery.

Stone. I just don't get the love for this brewery. But hey, I order them, they fly off the shelves at my store, so good for them!

Try some of their sours and you will never say they are overrated.

#1 by far for me is bells. Three floyds is up there too. Gonna have to put in a vote for central waters, their beers generally underwhelm me
