When bottles hit Austin again, put one away for a while. I keep mine in the fridge for 6 months to a year.

    See if that helps.

I agree with most of Southern Tier's big beers. I'll also throw DFH Midas Touch and DFH Black & Blue in the mix.. I've always been a fan of both, but I know that isn't the case for everyone..

I would assume we're talking about craft beer here.

I somehow love and hate watching this channel's videos. It's hilarious to watch them bitch and moan while they get sick to the point of vomiting eating stuff that's perfectly common in any other part of the world, but also very annoying to watch them re-inforce the stereotype of the American that can't stomach anything that doesn't involve burgers and bacon.

There is other food out there besides burgers and bacon? WHAT?

This is the first video of theirs I've seen. I enjoy Epic Meal Time quite a bit though

I think at the end where he throws it all up is not his body rejecting the beer, but more the beer rejecting having to stay in that douche for another minute.

I'd have to agree with a lot being said here. Southern tier creme brulee is one for me that I love and hate. I could smell it for hours, but the booziness in it puts it over the top for me sometimes.

I thought it was ok. Too sweet for me for everyday but I'll drink another next year.

Well, that's 2 people who say 120 is "just ok", so I stand corrected. I still say its a polarizing beer though. I hear comments like smells like paint thinner, nail polish remover, rubbing alchohol, etc. And those who hate it seem to be almost angered by anyone that likes it, which is what makes it polarizing. Any time you see someone praise 120 in a forum, you will usually read a harsh comment after that. I had it on tap and loved it, but did not care for it in the bottle so I understand both sides of the argument. But at 18%, its a novelty beer and definately will not be liked by everyone.

Yeah, I was going to say this and even the 90 minute for me. I'm in the hate crowd as these were the types of beer that ruined IPA's for me: Super bitter and boozy and just unenjoyable to me. It wasn't until I started having stuff like Troegs' Perpetual and Bell's Two Hearted a bit ago that I realized I could enjoy IPA's as long as the hopping was more citrus and floral based.

DFH just doesn't do hops right for a lot of people. I'm one of them. I agree with some eariler statements that their entire lineup is pretty polarizing.

This is because a lot people will automatically rate those beers in the low 1s just because it's MGD or Coors Light (or the like).

Meanwhile I love a good bit of what else they do, or at least appreciate the attempts they make. I usually like 2/3rds of the Ancient Ales stuff and other 750mL bottlings and stuff like India Brown, Palo Santo and so on. I just can't do super bitter hop, which puts me off a lot of the West Coast IPA styles too.

Do people Really think DFH 90 and 120 are hoppy? I always thought they were very sweet.

I definately don't think they are hoppy, I totally agree that they are much more sweet than typical West Coast IPA's.
