Just had and reviewed one tonight actually.

If I had to rate it, I'd give it was "just alright".

Reading scores of different threads it's apparent that macro lagers win easily. BAs seem to hate and despise them, the rest of the beer drinking community actually prefer tham.

Not a specific beer but one brewery.... DFH. Unique, very different, quirky, willing to experiment, right down the line you either like it or hate it you can't be neutral. From a personal standpoint I don't quite get it, but a lot of guys do.

I love Brooklyn Black Ops and even think it's worth $20.00. Some BA's seem to. Dislike it because it very unlike other BBA RIS's. Must be that champagne yeast!

I was just joking, but it's definitely a recurring, lame joke for people to say they don't like [insert sweet beer here] because diabetes. I did quick searches for "diabetes" and "diabeetus" and here's a portion of what came up:

I can't disagree more. I do know some people feel that way, but it's not a love it/hate it beer. Most people love it, some like it, few think it's bad.

    That's not polarizing.

For me I would have to some the most polarizing beers that my palate has enjoyed and everyone else I talked to did not would be Sprecher's Mama Mia Pizza Beer, Cave Creek Chili Beer and SA Triple Bock. I enjoyed all three of these and would happily drink them again (or in the case of Cave Creek, cook with it). I recently tried Rogue Voodoo Donut and did not enjoy it at all.

4:00 on is AWESOME. Those people are huge *******. We got a keg of Arrogant Bastard for a buddy's birthday and we were playing flip cup and beer pong with it all night.

Granted, there were 25 of us and we couldn't finish the keg, but at least we didn't puke!

Just reading the reviews it has some real high scores and really low. It was my favorite release of 2012 in the IPA category with Aroma Coma coming in at #4. I'm really disappointed that only old bottles made it to the midwest further distorting the reviews.

    Brux

I hated this beer. Brett crazy with no sour taste that many expect in Wild Ales (even though sour is not a requirement of wild ales).

    Bitch Please

This collaboration is either viewed as the worst beer of all time or very bad. That is polarizing in my eyes.

Veritas 009 comes to mind. Most in our tasting group did not care for it but several REALLY liked it.

Rogue Voodoo Maple Bacon Doughnut is one of the most disgusting, vile atrocities to ever be bottled. And this from someone who had Mama Mia Pizza Beer and appreciated that they hit the mark on what they were going for.
