Fug it!!! I'd take a Corona over all those other shitty beers anyway!!

I do love Sam Adams but you can't always get what you want!!

I've never had a Blue Moon, never will.

    You forgot the oats.
Edit - for all, Michigan has a lower % of craft sales than the national average. It might be 5% total. Labatts Blue outsells all of the Michigan craft brands IIRC.

What did they do? Conduct the survey at the Elks club at 10 am on a Tuesday?

Anyone who doesn't think this survey is somewhat accurate is fooling themself. You ask people what they drink and for 9 out of 10 people its not craft.

I'm certainly not going to put down Sam Adams but "most popular beer in the state" really...
This survey is likely targeting what's most available in terms of craft beer.

.003% 21+ population... Accurate poll bro.

AMP, the research firm, probably passed out polls on flyers at college campuses or at gas stations, where "hangover cures" are sold.

I don't think anyone is arguing that. I am calling BS on Blue Moon beating the other BMC garbage.

I respect the fact NJ is Sam Adams and I do see it.

Sam Oktoberfest outsells BMC this time of year handily.

    I'm a limited BA , don't like the style.

If it was in terms of craft beer then Bud, Corona, Miller, Coors, etc would not be showing up on that map.

When I clicked the link initially I was thinking it was an actual list of beers rated "best" in each state. Sadly this was not the case.

I am sorry, but I am pretty sure it is Spotted Cow in WI... Sometimes I turn on my faucet and it comes out!

Well judging by the shelves at the liquor store - all of the major brands have about 20 flavors of "Vodka" - crap like whipped cream or watermelon flavored.

As for the beer, they were given 18 options to choose from

I think it's funny Illinois is Sam Adams. I would argue that Chicago would be "312". It seems to be the go-to beer for people at bars.

Aw, another reason to be proud of my home-state :stuck_out_tongue:
It is really popular, and I'm sure Sam Adams light is very close to it (if not more common than the regular)

Not at all surprised how popular vodka is. Seemed so for a while, especially with all the flavors like someone else said. Poor Schnapps, poor gin, poor bourbon :slight_frown:

I like Blue Moon as well and would drink it alongside most in its class (yeah I know I'm nuts) and I've sampled a lot of beer.....just real surprised it is the #1 beer in all those states....are we sure this is accurate....

Mich Golden Light must not have been one of the 18 options. That shit gets consumed like bottled water by the average beer drinker in Minnesota.
