Goses are MAD drinkable! One summer night me and a friend crushed a six pack of Anderson Valley Briney Melon in about 20 minutes, and we weren't even trying to drink it fast.

I'm a Sixpoint fanboy, so I keep Sweet Action cream ale, and The Crisp pilsner in the fridge most of the time. Complements a lot of meals, rather than dominates. Good Florida weather beers out of the NE.

For sheer quaffability (pretty sure that's not a word, but ok), I have to go with Munich Helles Lager.

I could put down about a gajillion Weihenstephaner Originals a day.

I don't chug but find Stone go to goes down really easy all year. At $11 a 16oz six pack it's always in my fridge and always seems to be real fresh.

Some gose is really easy drinking too. Some are much to sour though. Sixpoint jammer was really easy to drink.

Narragansett coffee milk stout goes down real Easy too. Stopped buying that beer this year though as every other one had a big metallic taste to it with no coffee.

    Enjoy

Yes, hefeweizens, and to name the best of breed, Weihenstephenar Hefe Weissbier. I associate quaffable with answering "what beer would I take to a picnic/party on a hot day?". While my go-to style is stout, typically higher ABV BA stouts, can't chug those for long on a hot day. Also, a hefeweizen is much more sharable with BMC-centric friends, might actually convert a few.

Another quaffable one I recently tried is New Belgium VooDoo Ranger 8 Hop Pale Ale. And it has cool artwork.

Say it louder for the people in the back! "Sessioning beer" is a very different idea in the US, and that's a shame. I see 6.5% beers labelled session and think "Damn, what a great way to go to the hospital..." Bud Light is America's true session beer hahaha

It is and will try next time. Some more of the east coast--esp SE needs to pick it up.

Pretty much agree with everyone here except that one guy who said IPA because he could drink 20 pints of them.

Altbier hasn't been mentioned that I can see, so I'll mention that. Terrific beer style for drinking multiple servings. I refuse to use the word "quaff" because I fucking hate it.

American Pale Ale - NE style preferred.

Also Guinness specifically. That beer is so delicious and after ever sip I'm ready for another and its not heavy so you can have a few.

    Low ABV cask ale.

Absolutely love a good Pilsner but it's too fizzy to quaff.
