In your guys' opinion, what are the heavily traded/most wanted beers? With exception to the whales that is. I've got King Henry, Darklord, CBS, KBS, Blabaers, Kate the Great, BC Rares, Black Tuesday amongst others. Just making discussion!
I grew up in Munster. I guess I overlooked Z Dust because 3 F is literally in my backyard. Very interesting. I knew it trades well but I didn't know it moved that well. What do people generally value it at?
I'd say its valued as a high sought after limitted distro beer that's easy to get within its distro. Kind of like Raspberry Tart/WBR from New Glarus and Heady from the Alchemist
Same here. I bought a case of it at DLD and drank about 3 of them. Gave away the rest as extras for the most part. And I would add Beatification and Loons to the list.
$10 a sixxer and $35 a case - traded $4$ for other year round shelf beers. I don't screw people over RR which is easy as hell to get here, so I don't allow myself to be screwed over something like ZD =) A good trade I like to do on it is 2x sixxers Sculpin for 3x sixxer ZD.
I find KBS to be one of the most traded beers. It almost seems like it's used as currency... for example, when people try to describe how much a particular beer (say Dark Lord) should be valued at, they say it takes 3-4 bottles of KBS (similar to BB4D), etc.
They kinda were, but then they got all out of whack when the Bruery ramped up production. Damn them for making more BT!
