Just curious, but what don't you like about the operation? That they make good beers, but not enough of them to keep up with demand?

I agree Victory should be up there, but discounting breweries based on which coast they're on? Come on. I have no idea what the smaller breweries out there are doing, but it looks like at least Port Brewing is putting out a serious portfolio (based on vurt's post), and there are probably plenty of others.

I'm still sticking with Victory though.

The two breweries I like a lot that are well diversified are Founders and Bell's.

Sierra Nevada also brews many styles and produces solid beers at a good price point.

DFH wins for making stuff all over the place.
No idea who makes the most unique established "STYLES' but I would think they would win this thing.
ITs not SN that's for sure, they make what 5-6 styles tops? oliva NOT counted.
    SA maybe
    Troegs maybe.

I need to count styles for every brewery lol, too lazy to do it.

Just Not sure if varied means different styles? that is the question.

According to BA, there are 40 unique beer styles Sierra Nevada brews.

yea but most of that is limited release / beer camp etc, brewery only is it not.many on that list were one offs
heck if were count pilot batches I can name 5 micros that beat that list. lol

How about who releases and distro's the MOST styles regularly.

NOT dissing SN btw i love them, or well I used to love them , now I just really like them.

Hard to argue against DFH for this title. I mean, this is a brewery that has practically come out and said they're more into doing beers that are bold and different than good at this point.

Except the butt heads stop making my favorite the STOCK ale which was the 2nd beer and 1st ale they made? or it was the 2nd one from them to make it to Texas anyway. So I have no idea but I loved that beer. stock ale like its really a MILD. loved it.

I think Cigar City would count as a varied brewery. They may not be varied in the traditional sense, but they produce countless collaborations and one-offs that stretch across a wide range of styles.

NoDa brewing in Charlotte does a beer every week for the NoDable release. They also have several year round options, plus collabs, seasonals and special releases. Those guys make beer like cray.

Firestone Walker. From the light, clean Pivo Pils, to the dark and heavy Sucaba, Velvet Merkin, Parabola, and Anniversary brews. If they made a Lager/Pils, I'd put Deschutes in second.

Has to be Short's next year alone they are bottling 43 different beers for distribution, this does not even include brewery only releases and one offs. Sure some of them may miss the mark but the majority of them are awesome. Love me some Short's!
