Mother Earth BBA Tripel Overhead

    So I guess I'm behind on recent events but when the heck did Mother Earth get rid the the Bourbon Barrel Aged Tripel Overhead?! This is (was?) my favorite tripel and I was looking forward to enjoying it this summer. Can my fellow North Carolinians help me out here?

    Still on the shelf at Sam's in Durham. Both the '11 and '12 vintages. Are you sure that they're phasing it out? I hadn't heard that.

    I havent heard that either. That would be ashame that is an excellent beer.

    No, this is not being phased out. The 2013 batch is currently aging nicely in barrels. Look for the release in mid-April.

    It was entered as "Limited (brewed once)" so it likely automatically became "retired" on BA. I submitted a change request.
