Mother Earth "Silent Night"

    I am going to be down in Winston-Salem next Saturday for the Olde Rabbit's Foot release and before heading back out of town, I was hoping to find some Mother Earth Silent Night! Anyone from the area know of anywhere I might find it? Or frankly just recommend any good bottle shops / stores down that way?

    Your best bet in W-S would be City Beverage. If you're ok with a bit of a detour to Greensboro, Bestway would be worth a stop. No clue if either will have Silent Night next weekend, though.

    2012 release party was this weekend. So it should be entering distribution and hitting the shelves this week. People are pretty good about posting spottings on here when new things hit, so just keep an eye on this thread. if i see something on twitter i'll post it too.

    Expect it at the usual haunts, in Raleigh/Durham it will show up at tasty, bottle rev, and sams for sure. Also, as usual expect a one bottle per limit.

    Boy, I don't think I'm going to spring for $18. Considering the ratings and my budget, I'd rather just buy another Event Horizon and have $5 left over.

    Where are you still seeing Event Horizon? It's been sold out for over a week already at the normal Raleigh bottle stores...

    Totally agree. I said last year that coming out the same time as EvHo really slowed this beer's sales. When it's $21 sitting next to a $14 Event Horizon on the shelf..well..I know which one I'm picking every time :slight_smile: EvHo sold out in a couple weeks last year, but I'm pretty sure there was Silent Night on the shelf locally in June.

    I meant it hypothetically; that being said, Durham Total Wine and Beer Sutdy in Chapel Hill may still have some.

    I mean, I haven't had Silent Night yet, but based on the reviews, that doesn't surprise me at all. And at $18, you're competing with things like BA Boris and some good sours, so that's some tough competition.
