moustache makes beer taste metallic

    I like to grow my mustache really long over my lips, and then use it to filter my beer as I drink it, sort of like baleen. I've never tasted metal, but sometimes I do get a bit of krill.

    I had noticed this before as well, I never would have thought to chalk it up to the 'stache, since I've been bearded for near twenty years now. Usually I'm not tipping up far enough to wet the ol' push broom, but I know if I go through my reviews I'll find some that mention a metallic taste.
    I'm probably going to guess it has to do with soap/shampoo used mixed with particular styles of beer.
