All Miami BA's. I am moving back to Miami, I went to high school at Palmetto Senior High. I graduated in 2005 so needles to say a lot has changed in the craft beer world there. What are some go to bars/breweries/restaurants to go to. My dad works right by MIA Brewing and he likes it a lot.

    Cheers!

MIA is good but you need to head down to wynwood and try j wakefield and wynwood brewing. For craft bar/restaurant in miami Kush in wynwood is great and to lesser extent lokal in the grove. Boxelder which is strictly a craft bar/bottle shop is great and they regularly have a food truck out back when you get hungry. I also throw out Mendez fuel for growler/Crowler fills you can easily find him on social media, and if a drive doesn't scare you funky buddha is always a good decision.

Funky Buddha is probably one of the best things going on down there.

@Bogart2930 pretty much listed all the good spots. I'd add Sunset Corners to that list though (72nd st & 87th ave in Kendall). A nice little bottle shop that can get a little pricey, but they've got a great selection.

Is Boxelder known for being overpriced? I want to say that I saw a bottle of Good Gourd there last weekend for $25

Wouldnt know about their cost on bottles but yeah $25 is overpriced. Ive seen Good Gourd anywhere from $13-$20 in and around Miami but yeah not $25.

I guess to answer your question yeah they are known for being overpriced. I will from time to time bite the bullet because they do get stuff I can't find anywhere else around town.

I know no one ever mentions them but Brass Tap is really starting to take off. The Pines location is already great with food and beer. They're opening up the Ft. LAUDERDALE location soon which I think 3 sons will be brewing out of. Really great prices. Plus they just started filling growlers early last week and it's everything except for uber special kegs.

Brass Tap in Pembroke is nice because they have a steady stream of 3 Sons brews on tap as well as limited CCB, Funky Buddha, and JWB occasionally.

Brass Tap Pembroke and Coconut Creek (long drive for Miami) normally have great tap lists. 3 Sons (as mentioned), BOMB!, great local limited releases.

If you don't mind the drive check out some of these eventually: Craft Beer Cartel (retail), Riverside Market, Mack House

Breweries: LauderAle, Due South, Copper Point, Barrel of Monks, Saltwater, 26degrees, Bangin Banjo.

    Cheers!
