    Greetings, BA folks!

I am moving to Jacksonville, FL in the middle of July and would love to get to know fellow beer lovers like myself. I am looking for people to do tastings with, hang out with to share great beers, and so on.

I currently live in Tallahassee and have a nice group going, but I don't know too many people in Jacksonville. I'm really active on RB, but I hear Jax has more of a BA crowd, so I figured I'd reach out here.

Feel free to respond here or shoot me a message on here or RB (same name).

I look forward to having some brews with y'all soon!

    -Danny

I lived on the beaches (Jax., Neptune, Atlantic) throughout the 70s. Things have changed a great deal since I was there -- a lot more development. I stayed after I was discharged for the Navy in 1972, stationed in Mayport. I'm sure, where there are seamen, there will be beer enthusiasts. Good luck.

You should try www.boldcitybrewery.com/ one of my buddies always brings a keg of their stuff to the Gator Games with him. Not a bad brew yet

how are you settling in? Bold City Brewery off of Rosselle St & Intuition Ale Works off King St are within walking distance in the Riverside area. Then you have Kickback's gastropub right down King St as well which steadily maintains about 80 beers on tap plus hundreds of bottles. Green Room Brewing Co is the newest in town and it's at the beach off 3rd St. This place just keeps getting better and better. It's become by fav in town recently. There's a local home brewer's beer club called CASK you can check out if you are a home brewer. Shoot me a message if you have any questions about anything.

King Street is really your best bet. Beer:30 is a brand new bottle shop that just opened that's worth checking out for stocking your fridge. Pele's Wood Fire Grill and Lola's Burrito Joint all have an impressive number of taps as well but for seriously insane draft beers look no further then Kickbacks.
