hey all i am moving to deer park in a few weeks, was wondering if there are any good shops or bars in the area that i should look out for. Thanks in advance for the help
Can't help with bars (rarely drink out anymore), but Superstar Beer City in N. Babylon is a good nearby bottle shop with an ample selection, and Great South Bay Brewery is a short drive away in N. Bay Shore.
Don't know of any good bars in Deer Park vicinity.... definitely check out Sand City Brewing in Northport. There's also a bar nearby, The Lark, which generally has a nice tap list and (from what I've been told), good food.
Barrage Brewing in Farmingdale is close by. They have a quaint tap room and fun beers on tap (like their snickers infused Yada Yada Yada brown ale).
There is a pretty decent beer store on Deer Park Ave, think its called Beer City or something like that, they have a pretty solid selection. Your also pretty close to the Great South Bay brewery.
