I am moving to ft lauderdale to go work for funky Buddha on 5/1 and I still am looking for a place to live. I have something lined up, but the reviews online for the complex are pretty terrible. I would like to find a fellow beer nerd that is enthusiastic about craft beer and even possibly home brewing. I have a pretty decent cellar after working for Jester King in Austin for a year. I also worked at Revolver brewing in granbury, tx. Not only am I looking for a roommate, but people to grab beers with, have bottle shares, IP trades & do some home brewing. I'm a super laid back 27 year old with a passion for beer and music. If you may know someone who might need a roommate who is into craft beer or just wanna get together and drink some Jester King, shoot me a PM!

    Cheers!
    Mike

Hey Mike, when you see me at the Buddha, say hello. I look like my avatar, hard to miss.
Good luck! You will not have much trouble finding friends to fill your needs as there are plenty of good co-workers where you'll be working at.
Maybe you might want to check in to an Extended Stay or similar type dueling and get to check out the area a bit better before you commit to a rental. They are not cheap. Good luck with that too.

Congrats on the new position and transitioning to our exploding beer community.

In South Florida you are definitely going to get what you pay for. There really aren't many cheap and nice places. If you don't have any luck finding a roomie I would say look out west a bit in like Coral Springs and Coconut Creek. It's nicer out there but you'll probably pay a bit more.
