Eden Prairie Liquors had everything earlier. all three stores. limit 1 regular and pick 1 variant.

 

Hit all three at/just after open and they said none had been delivered yet. Went back home for an hour and called them - two stores had nothing but regular and barleywine left and one store had regular, barleywine and two coffee. I guess people were pretty on-the-spot with the deliveries haha. Would have really liked to get my hands on a rye, but I was able to grab 2 regular and one each of coffee and barleywine so I'm happy. Do you happen to be one of the guys I met outside the EPL on Den Rd before open or the guy who was driving back and forth between stores with me?

that was me. i failed in Chanhassen and went down to a few other stores. wasted a bit of time but then went back around 11pm and all three stores had them out.

 

Plenty of regular left at byerlys SLP - limit one for 10.99

 

Anyone going to zipps at two?

Hoping they have some coffee and they're not doing a frickin raffle for it.

 

Rare was everywhere, Coffee was the hard one to get....MGM Plymouth had 2 limit on regular and one of each Variant (they had them all). Hit up Total Wine Maple Grove and Roseville, then Princetons, then both Haskells, then MGM. Passed on Rare 4 times. Done before 11am.

 

In omaha regular everywhere nothing else

Exceptionally smooth release. Credit goes to the reps, employees and folks in line. As far as limits go... 2 regular, 1 bw, 1 coffee & 1 rare. Everyone I saw got the full allotment. Each one was priced BELOW msrp. My best guess is that if you were in line by 6:45, you would have been able to pick up a rare if you wanted to.

 

Rogers, St Michael and Albertville; 1 bottle limit and multiple cases per store.

 

Who here showed up at MGM Woodbury at 8 AM only to be let down?

 

still there. maybe 15 bottles on the counter. limit 1.

 

I was, then they quoted me 10:30 delivery. When I returned at 10:30 they were sold out. Luckily I was able to find one Coffee, one Barley Wine, and one regular at various East side Total Wines.

 

Was south lyndale the only place handing out glasses? They look sweet

 

I was in a small line and ahead of me was a guy that had previously scored very well, including multiple variants.

Facing an unknown quantity ahead of us, with bottles going quickly, and knowing I had zero, he allowed me to go ahead of him.

Turns out, we both got some, but still, it was a cool thing for him to do.

So whoever you are, if you're on BA, I say thanks for being a stand-up guy. It certainly was appreciated.

 

This is great to hear. Overall I think the craft beer community is a solid group of people.

 

South Lyndale's black Friday event was well done and by far the lowest prices in town. Only disappointment was no rye. I wonder why there wasn't any regal rye available at a Goose Island sponsored event.

 

At this point in the day, the North west metro seems pretty cashed out. I found one bottle of regular at MGM Plymouth. Vinifera is releasing there's next week though
