My friends Chris and Sara and I are planning on hitting this game. Anybody else want to meet at the game? Before/after? We've got time to kick around post game suggestions (although, I will strongly lobby for at least one at Collins).
I can't say for sure if we have plans or not but if we're free we may be able to meet up somewhere, afterward. What time is the game?
Day game, 12:30 start. Chris has Tuesdays and Wednesdays off, but gets up at 4:30 workdays, so catching night games, and weekend day games are out for him.
This game is on a Wednesday during the day, so no. Work and shit. I would, however, try to make it for an M's/Cards game. Hell, I'd even skip work. The teams have faced each other only 12 times; the Ms are 4-8. Only three of those games were in Seattle, and that was in 2002, so I think we are about due for another series here... Maybe next year.
They do play the NL Central next year. If the Cards games are in STL, I'ma burn down the schedule writers house. I'm going to try to go to all three games. The tentative schedule is usually released late August-early September, we'll see.
So, Sara's work schedule changed, and now it looks like we're going to try to catch the Tuesday night game. Probably head down early and make a couple pregame stops.
