Just bought a ticket, anybody want to meet up? Either at the game, or perhaps Collins Pub after?

I am offended. We are only scoreless in two games.
I miss the days of Twins domination of the Ms.

In a recent evaluation safeco field is the number 1 baseball stadium in the country for beer and food selection!

Unfortunately it's near last in quality of product on the field.

    Yes, but:

A: I'm trying to see every team at least once, and I haven't seen the Twinkies before.
B: I'm trying to go to one game a month, and that's my last chance. I made 5 months last season.
C: It's the only game this month that fits my schedule. It sucks that it's the day after a big beer fest up here. I may not be at top speed for the game.

Fact that I'll be seeing the Twins play in Minneapolis in June is irrelevant

My wife is a Twins fan and we'd probably be there but we'll be out of town for that whole series. First Twins/Mariners series we've missed in 3 years or so, I think.

Will be curious to see how this Mariners line-up fares against a legit terrible team. Unless Phil Hughes starts a game, I more or less expect a sweep, dammit.

Definitely won't happen for me, but I'm going to try to talk my brother into meeting up for a game sometime this summer . We used to go to a game together every year, but now he had daddy duties (and his daughter's at the age where she'd probably get bored and "problematic" at some point during the game) - plus another kid happening sometime around the height of summer, so it'll take a lot of cajoling on my part. Plus he's in Oly, so there's that whole insidious JBLM traffic thing...:grimacing:

Well, I'm not sure where the Sounder train ends down that way, but it at least goes to T-Town. If y'all find a date, LMK, and I'll see how things fall for me.

I cannot wait to go to Mariner/Twins games next year at Safeco, making the big move out west in the fall.
