Anybody know If Casanova is releasing it tomorrow morning? I am up from Chicago and went there last year, met some very nice fellows in the (blissfully short, by Chicago standards) line. I'm just looking for a bottle of BW for the holiday.

 

Yes, right when they open. Said they only got regular - no variants.

 

France 44 has 2 regular for the first 36 people and a choice of 1 Coffee or Barleywine. They have 12 Coffee and 24 Barleywine. That's the only place I've even heard of getting Coffee. I need a second job at a liquor store. Then I can be one of the employees that annoy me by getting most of the store's allotment. 9am

I wish AB would just discontinue original BCBS and only brew coffee and other variants. I'd happily pay double and so would everyone else. You would think a money hungry company would think of this.

 

I'm unfamiliar with the release. Do most stores get at least some allotment of regular and variants vary, or do only F44, SLL, and a couple other main stores get BCBS?

 

Wed. my retail manager asked if I wanted one bottle of BCBS held for me. Cost will be about $11. He is getting only 85% of last year's allotment. And no variants again. Overall, Kansas will get 90% of last year's allotment.

I could drive to the west side of town and stand in line to get another bottle. But I don't consider it to be worth the hassle. 4-5 years ago it was easy to buy an entire case, not just one bottle. What happened?

Heard nothing from Hy-Vee in Winona. I know Featival in La Crosse WI got a case of BW with their regular. Been checking in St. Paul, no luck yet.

Byerlys St. Louis Park has coffee and barleywine. Limit is 2 regular plus 1 coffee and 1 barleywine. They also pulled some 2016 KBS, limit 2

Wow only 36 reg at South Lyndale? They had tons last year. GI must of really dumped a lot.

 

Haskell's white bear lake has regular and barleywine in back. no idea on numbers

 

Limit one TW Bloomington, out of coffee and barley

 

Downtown Lunds: reg and barley. 1 limit.
Haskells: reg limit 2

 

Nothing in yet at Eagan TW, Hy-Vee and byerlies. Mistake coming out this way, back to the city!

St. Louis Park sold out of BW and coffee. Snagged the last BW! They have 5 kbs left. 5 bottles of The Abyss 2015 and they got 2 cases of the Founders lizard of Koz
