Any chance any small places still have/got the coffee BCBS?

MGM Forest Lake held a raffle for the right to purchase one bottle of regular and they're asking $20 each from the winners. Something tells me there will be some leftover that aren't picked up within a couple days.

EP shops are out. Sounds like they had variants at the Cub location

Anywhere around the LaCrosse area that'd be carrying?

I stopped there around 1 and they didn't have any. Couldn't have missed it by much...

Any chance there are still some bottles hanging around somewhere at this time? Would love to snag one if it's still out there.

Some places are having timed releases or different days. I don't know exactly what ones though.

MGM St. Louis Park got their delivery at about 12:30 - 1:00 today so it sounds like it's still being delivered around town this afternoon. They might have some left....

Just to rub salt in the wounds, my buddy in NYC sent me a pic of his store in brooklyn. had multiple bottles of 2015 regal and rare, and was selling bcbs at a 2 CASE limit. and cases of the other variants with moderate bottle limits.

Anyone crack a bottle yet? How's this years compare? I sure do miss those 4-packs of BCBS, coffee, barleywine days. I thought moving to 16 oz format would mean plenty more in the wild of all these, not less for MORE $$$!

I didn't hear anyone ask about price; including myself. It seemed to me that the only question those in line wanted to know was how many bottles they could get.

I didn't know how much I paid for the bottles until I got home, so what happened to you could have happened to any of us. It was pretty easy to get gouged today.

The good news is most stores seemed to be reasonable with their pricing.

Did people know about the 8 pm SLL release ahead of time or did 15-20 people just randomly stumble in at the time they posted about the release. Didn't see anything about details on their twitter or did you have to call?

I got one there today for $22 after tax. When he told me $20 I was a little shocked. I think I paid $15 there last year, which was pushing it. But my buddy and I are splitting so I don't have to eat the whole "loss" on it. I will not pay that next year. I understand he's trying to make a buck, and that's fine, but how can it be twice as much as other places? I'm willing to spend a few extra bucks because I walked right in and got it, no lines like a lot of people on here in the cities. But that's an expensive premium.

Between that and their generally unhappy employees (I'm a fairly regular customer), I will probably avoid going there in the future. It makes me feel less guilty about stopping at bigger places on the way home from work, though I try to support independent places. Gouging and shitty customer service kind of ruins that.

A guy in faribault said he got a couple bottles around $10 at different places. The Northfield Muni was selling it for $17.

It was likely the people that where waiting in line at opening and got shut out. I went there half hour before they opened thinking id get at least one bottle since it was so plentiful last year. It sold out a half a dozen people ahead of me. Went back home to STP and found a few places that were still selling it. Last time I cross the river for BCBS!

It's crazy to hear what other states are getting compared to MN. I've got friends that are seeing multiple cases of the variants per store and no limit on regs. MN just got hosed this year.

    I mean, look at this:

That's one shop and it's legit. I know the guy that took that picture

This is unfortunately nothing new. For the past few years, it seems that larger Midwest markets outside of Chicago (such as MN, MI) have had slim pickings on Bourbon County, while certain markets like NY, FL, TX have been flooded. I'm sure it has varied within those states and from year to year, but that is what I have observed for a few years running now (purely anecdotal but based on multiple postings in the various regional forums).
