Just stopped in, in Vancouver. Opening Feb. In inner se portland. Looking forward to it. The asylum ipa was fantastic. Not sure how they have stayed under the radar. Especially liked the winter warmer... Same recipe with lager and ale yeast.
They used to be in SE, hence the Mt. Tabor name. It surprised everyone when they kept the name after moving to Vancouver. Their beers were never anything great back then, so it is nice to hear they have gotten better. You say they are moving back to inner SE?
I wondered about that. Nice to know the connection. EDIT: Here's a story about their move back to Portland. Seems that was part of the plan all along: http://brewpublic.com/oregon-beer/m...en-another-larger-brewery-in-portland-oregon/
Yeah, one of the Brewers used to brew for 512 down in Austin. Good guy. And yeah, definitely decent beer.
