Yeah, don't want the homeless man suing google for showing everyone where he lives without his consent. In a weird way I'm kind of jealous of him. I wished I lived right across the street from a brewery.

So I stopped by this place and I agree, it's not in a very good part of town but the inside layout is pretty cool. That being said, I honestly wasn't very impressed with their brew. I had Buggin Out and Black Mamba w/ Coffee and I thought both were just alright. The Buggin Out was a perfect example demonstrating how all haze doesn't amaze.. Has anyone else stopped by recently and what did you think?

At the rate DTLA is booming that area pretty much will change in a year or two. Everything surrounding Skid Row is being gentrified at an alarming rate. I have sympthy for the homeless but its only a matter of time before they push them further east or to another area all together. And if LA somehow gets that Olympic bid Skid Row in DTLA is history for sure. The city won't even be nice about then either

Looks like Mumford is releasing Unpresidential in 16oz cans this Saturday. May stop by. I dig this beer.

ha ha. you think skid row has any place to migrate to. They're currently as far east as they can get since East L.A./Boyle Heights is at a turning point of gentrification. Sooooo, they can't really go east, they can't go west, nor south or north. Basically that downtown are is stuck with the masses of the homeless.

Just want to say that we really enjoyed our visit yesterday. What a chill place to hang out, especially by the window as the rain is pouring down. Nothing blew my mind but the ipa offerings as well as the nitro were solid.. the hazy ipa was probably favorite though lacking

New poster but longtime drinker and even BA reader. Mumford is progressing pretty nicely, personally I like their black IPA styles and West Coast offerings (quite bitter, but getting fruitier now as well).... I will say that their hazy/NE styles are really coming along for me at least. I've drunk them back to back with Monkish, Trillium, and Focal Banger. Mumford's are tending to be a bit more dank/bitter and less sweet/"juicy", especially compared to Trillium, but personally I prefer some residual alphas in my drink. 90's R&B was their most recent and I personally loved it very very much. Not to say they are at the pinnacle yet, but I am an enthusiastic supporter of their progress. Between them and Highland Park brewing we have some good choices in the metro LA region now. But that's about it...

On top of that there is too much sponsored/section 8 housing there. It'll never go away. On top of that there's a ton of manufacturing/warehouses there as well. It's really tough to just gentrify warehouse space as if they don't all get demolished, you're just living around warehouses.

    90s R&B was amazing.

Unpresidential 5 was a hella juicy Amarillo haze bomb. They've made really nice strides since opening overall. Great tunes played in the joint as well...

No love for Mumford round here. They're hitting a nice stride with their can releases. They have one this upcoming Wednesday. Might stop by

I kinda miss living close to Mumford, Barbara's, HPB, etc. Was bummed I couldn't make it to the unPresidential release this past weekend - really enjoyed the previous batch.

Cool spot, gonna have to plan a trip up one of these days.

I stopped in on Sunday, and the place was super chill. Bartenders were awesome. Whatever the new haze was, was very good. The pils was decent. And the west coast was good. I'll definitely return, but the dude on the street with his hand up his ass was a bit of a turn off.

Maybe he was looking for the change that the people’s gave him throughout the day?
