Spot on. I worked in downtown LA for the past 20 years and up to 5-6 years ago nobody paid attention to all the homeless and gave a #&it. Now that it's the hip place to be they tried to push out the homeless in every direction. As you said there is no place to go. Be interesting to see how the Olympic thing plays out.......Anyway, back on topic, I'll have to stop by Mumford

I'm impressed with this beer. I know dank is an overused and maybe dumb word now, but this is dank. first smell is straight up Mary j, from what I've heard people tell me it smells like

nice mix of west coast bitterness and NE mouthfeel. can art is pretty good too you have to admit

 

They did it with this one.. straight fire!!

 

Good post.. in a matter of time they're going to push the encampment out somewhere far. Every area surrounding Skid Row is being re-developed: Historic Core, Arts District, Fashion District, and Little Tokyo. Plus the Olympics coming.. its going to happen much sooner than later. Feel for the homeless but there's just no stopping DTLA right now.

 

Maybe LA will just pay Vernon to take all the homeless in, that could be the plot of True Detective Season 2 - Part II.

 

That would've been a way better plot cause season 2 of TD was some of the worst television I'd ever seen.

I think you are correct. Draft only for us peasants, but I would guess they bottled a very very small batch for DDB.

 

I seem to recall they're aging some in brandy barrels right now.

 

The non-BA version was on draft. Most of it was put into in brandy and Old Forester barrels. Don't know the status of it beyond that.

 

It's currently sitting in a barrels working its magic. Patience. For life does indeed find a way.
