    Yeah, things did seem a bit different--could be a combination of post-COVID and other global issues that seem to be affecting Europe more at the moment (i.e., Ukraine war and big time energy inflation for them).

    @grantcty -- having a Salvator this afternoon got me thinking -- since you compared the Triumphator to Optimator, did you attempt an Animator to Salvator comparison in the same "under the same roof" theory?

    It's been some time since I've had Salvator (I'm a regular Optimator drinking, and had drank several the week leading up to my departure to Munich) but I thought that the Animator lacked some of the malty-richness and had a spicier alcohol bite, even though it's only a little higher in ABV than Salvator. Maybe the alcohol was affecting my perception of the malt profile? Sorry, that's about the best I can recall between the two at the moment.

    Funny, because that was the impression I got from the Salvator I had this afternoon!
