Munich's Andechser am Dom CLOSED

No, We were at Augustiner and Andechs multiple times and I
just sort of spaced out when I posted. The doppelbock still drinks easy.

 

We always used to loiter at Augustiner Am Dom while waiting for a table at Andechser Am Dom to open up. The normal lagers are mostly equals, but the weisse and doppelbock at Andechser are the difference.

The new place looks a lot more spacious. It looks a little like Ayinger's place across from the HB in the photos. I loved the charm of the old spot, but it was crowded and a little cramped. I'm looking forward to visiting the new location. They still have the 3-meat platter on the menu, which was a must-have for me each time.
