Cant find any reviews on Muntons Lager Malt. I won a ten pound bag in a local homebrew contest. The next beer I was going to be a Quad based on this recipe: http://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=500037

I figured this could be used in place of the Belgian Pale Malt?

    Any thoughts?

When I googled English lager malt, a Homebrew shops description of muntons was the first thing that came up, at eckraus.com. It says it is a light malt with slightly higher body than most Pilsner malts, but light in color. Good for American and Czech lagers, a good malt for featuring specialty malts. I'd think it could similarly be a good base for featuring Belgian yeast flavors. I see no reason why it would fail in a quad

I agree with Peter (@pweis909), Muntons Lager Malt should work just fine in a Quad.

    Cheers!
