Thank you for proving my point that you are just a Dark Lord hater. Much appreciated.

I wonder how I did that Capt.?
Guess I'm a hater because my opinion differs from yours. OK
As for the Sheep comment, Bully Guppy sold out pretty quickly. Ugh.

    Hater is so street ghetto.

I totally respect your opinion here! Opinions Vary.

This quote made it pretty clear, especially followed by all of this:

That part in bold is laughable to me because I haven't experienced anything else from their -bal program that was remotely close to as good as BA Dark Lord. Curious which ones you liked better.

I know, I hate using that word, but when it's true, it's true.

I'm not sure how me thinking that Murda'd being $50 is not "pushing the boundaries" makes me out of touch... if anything, I would think it would make me more in touch with the demand for it :astonished:

    Really?

You havent had Ba blonde behometh? Awesome
Barrel aged black sun stout? - Incredible
    BA poppaskull?
    Ba Moloko was pretty tasty

    Loved all of them

    Not really a DL hater - I like 05 and 07.

Of all those, BA Moloko is the only one I've had, and while I thought it was definitely tasty, I would absolutely 100% take BA Dark Lord over it every single time.

Of course. DL has the name recognition.
This years DL variations were not that good.
I guess it depends who your talking too.

Lets just agree to disagree and move on Captain.

Dude cmon - lets be completly honest.
Nick Freaking Floyd could do something foul in a cup and barrel age it and the "fans" would buy it for $50 bucks a bottle.

What does that have to do with which one I prefer the taste of?

Obviously, I happen to disagree. I thought the 2012 Bourbon Dark Lord was absolute perfection from the bottle.

I guess I just don't appreciate the insinuations that I'm just a thoughtless FFF sheep, that's all. Probably doesn't help that I'm still stuck at work, and probably will be for another hour or so, and all of this talk of BA Dark Lord has me wishing I still lived in Chicago so I could run over to FFF and pick up one of these Murda'd Out Stouts... :slight_frown:

That they released that abomination into the world made me lose all respect for FFF.

Like I said, They could Barrel aged anything and the "fans" will buy it at any price.

    Next up:
Tequilla aged pride and joy with chocolate. Only $75 bucks a bottle.

People have conflicting opinions on what a tasty beverage is?

    Color me surprised.

*2 out of my top 3 beers I've had are BA Dark Lords*

I've had BA Behemoth, BA Moloko, and BA Black Sun multiple times as well as BA DL on tap and from a bottle and it's very difficult to compare any of these to BA DL. First, Behemoth is a barleywine. I think BA Behemoth is on par with King Henry but difficult to compare oranges to apples on this one. Moloko and Black Sun are so much lighter/less viscous and neither are even RIS and are less than 10%. Again I think this is banana to apple comparison.

I think FFF prices will still remain high but demand will wane due to the demise of Ebay beer sales, the apparent futility of Craigslist sales, and the insanely competitive Chicago beer scene that is bound to hit it's apex sometime soon. The new normalcy will still have "special" beer prices at or above $50 but they will be available for longer. Once this happens Bully Guppy won't sell out in a day because every beer nerd in Chicago won't drive to Munster every Tuesday expecting something special.
