Greetings! I'm heading to Chicago in a few weeks for a work conference. What are the "must do" brewpubs? I've never been to Chicago before, but I know Goose Island is based there. Thanks!

Goose Island (a classic, always worth doing)
Revolution (nice space, good barrel aged beers)
Piece (great pizza, gets super crowded)
    Haymarket (wide variety, solid flights)

I went to Chicago a few months back and I really enjoyed Revolution. Everything about that place was cool, the food was great and the beers were fantastic! I will definitely go back next time I am in Chi town

Get in the car and go to Three Floyds.

While you are there pick up a case of Zombie Dust for me. Thanks.

This would be better off in the Chicago forum, even though the answer is already in about a million threads already.

Just one for me. I don't want to be a pig. I am also assuming you will grab a few bombers for me.
    Enjoy.

Gotcha. I just hope I don't drink all of it before getting it to you.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to try and hit all of those places.

You can find every brewery in the Chicago area (and the rest of the U.S. and Canada) at www.pubquest.com. Lots to enjoy!

Pretty pedestrian at this point. Just looked around the Chicago West Loop area and they only have Haymarket and are missing about 4 or 5 other places.

Just in the West Loop area: Beer Bistro, Jaks Tap, The Publican, Bottom Lounge, Twisted Spoke.

    There you go.

will echo the praise for Revolution. Very cool atmosphere, with great beers and amazing food.

We only have brewery locations, not bars. Thanks for your interest!

Sorry guess I didn't notice when I checked the map. Pubquest would make you think of a pub or bar, but sorry for the mix-up.

Here are a couple that could be added to the site as well:

Revolution Brewery (separate from the brepub):
    http://revbrew.com/brewery

Local Option (a beer bar that has been brewing, contracted through Against the Grain Brewery, the past year+):

thank you, I will get those 2 added (as much as it hurts me to see a brewery that has most of its advertising for Miller High Life... ) :astonished:
